Mold making with “Mold Builder”
I’m getting more comfortable with mold making and resin casting. Right now I’m testing out “Mold Builder”. Seems to work ok with smaller figurines. Only trouble is… I have to keep adding a new layer, let dry, then add another and so forth and so on ’til it feels like a sturdy solid mold. We’ll see how it goes. I can’t wait to put the resin in it. I’ll be ordering the materials to make silicone rubber molds soon. Preeeeeetty exciting haha! I’m not trying to step away from polymer clay figurines too much… Just seeing where this takes me. I’ve always been interested in casting figurines in resin, but I guess I figured it’d be too hard to do. After much testing and research, I learned that casting in resin is muuuuch more user friendly than the ever so popular vinyl. I’ll leave that to the factories if I ever decide to go that route…. For now I’ll do it my damn self.

Little boxes full of thingies….
Finished these last week just haven’t gotten around to posting them on here. Finally got the hang of cutting the glass myself instead of going to a framing shop or something along those lines and paying someone to do it for me. Yeah! DIY!
I’m also po’ so I have to do it myself hahahaaaaa…. Click thumb nails for bigger image. I really should have made them bigger… Now I know for next time.
